Receta de hoy: "Buttermilk biscuits"

"Buttermilk biscuits"
Ingredients:
4 teaspoons active dry yeast
5 tablespoons warm water
5 cups all- purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup shortening
11/2 cups warm buttermilk
Dissolve yeast in warm water, add to buttermilk. Combine all dry ingredientes then add the shortening and buttermilk. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 400 grados F for 15-18 minutes. Try with raspberry or plum jam.
